We never change. I have vague memories of the 1979 revolution on Tv. How the west once supported and armed a guy called Saddam, how Khomeini was courted as a media "darling" around the western capitals and hoity toity once, even how we supported the Shah.
And so we look away once more. Oil, after all, is rationed now. Such unkind regards.
